Thought of Posting Some art For contegion.

So yeah i wanted to create art for contegion but since
i have little to know knowlege of Photoshop i decided to do things hand made.

Here is some artwork.I will post Other pictures later.

First one is pretty damn good, but theres very basic anatomy/perspective errors in both, getting the fundamentals down is really key with this stuff and its gonna help you out a lot if you decide to nail them first.

I really like the first one, a creepy backalley sorta with some abandoned apartments and a great old/industrial look in the back with the smoke from the factories.

You should really operate with a sharpened mechanical pencil if you're interested in sketching up artwork. The sharpness makes the use of line far less smoky and offers almost as much contrast as a full set of normal pencils.

You're use of line is good but as Mark said, Mr Anatomy is throwing his weight around. You need to tame that beast, teach him whos boss, and then you'll find that your sketches essentially draw themselves.

You show promise though. I've seen graduates at my previous university course with far less skill, and they managed to do quite well for themselves. Might be worth looking into photoshop and a tablet if you're looking to make it seriously as a game artist though. Tools of the Trade, as it were.

I agree that i didnt do that good of a job on the anatomy.
I took a photo of my self but i made 2 critical mistakes.

One was that i took the picture on a sunny day,without correct lighting,
this making the lighting on the Picture look nonexistant or just all around the place.

The second was that i made it on a rush,which is propably the single most stupid thing to do when you create artwork for a mod.

Also i have photoshop but i am incapable of using it.Its mostly because i am used to drawing with pencils and photoshop looks really complicated (but what do i know i barely use it).

A tablet will help me with photoshop and thanks for mentioning it.
Will buy one on Ebay if i can because i dont think they sell those in my country.

Finally i havent made artwork for Contegion because i am helping a guy create a mod and i am a Artist.

And yes the botton one is a store.I was thinking of making it a gas station but i thought that was a little redutant.

There are suppused to be starting areas for a map.
